Bathroom Space Saver

Ever since I got married, I have always had an early morning problem with my wife. No. Don’t get me wrong. We aren’t what you probably are thinking. And we also have two bathrooms in the house. Trouble is, while my wife keeps her bathrooms spic and span, my own bathroom tends to be extremely messy. It is not like I go out of my way to keep the bathroom messy, but that is what my wife generally accuses me of. So one fine day last week, I resolved to do something about it and decided to enter the hallowed premises of my wife’s bathroom. And you know what? I finally discovered the secret to her spic and span bathroom – a bathroom space saver.

Although it sounds like no big deal, a bathroom space saver is a nifty little contraption that can save you much heartburn, especially if you are a messy, married man like me with a wife who is near perfect. Upon reflection, the reason why my bathroom was always messy was because my items had no readymade places to be in. But that was soon going to be remedied through the usage of a bathroom space saver. The bathroom space saver would not only help me identify key areas and map out what goes where, it would also (hopefully) motivate me to stick to putting everything back in its place after use.

It was only after I had resolved this that I went down to the neighborhood supermarket to buy myself a bathroom space saver. All the while I kept wondering why the thought of buying a bathroom space saver had never appealed to me earlier. Maybe I presumed that there was no need for one in the first place. Or, if you were to listen to my wife, I loved the feel of disorganization. Or maybe it was just that in the big picture, the cleanliness of a bathroom where I probably spent the smallest portion of my time in a day, didn’t really warrant that much thought or even a bathroom space saver. Be that as it may, I managed to get the bathroom space saver into the house and into my bathroom in one piece.

Now, thanks to the bathroom space saver, I too have a near perfect bathroom. And while my wife was pleasantly surprised to see the new bathroom space saver (her secret was out you see!) she has almost stopped deriding me for the status and cleanliness of my bathroom. But the cribs will start again. So I’d better be ready for another espionage mission into her bathroom to see what she’s got this time around.
