Pop Up Hamper for Your Bathroom Area

The one thing I would not replace in my bathroom is the little pop up hamper I have.  I love the little thing.  It works great and I think every home, or at least every bathroom, should have one.  I really wouldn’t trade mine, that seems kind of sad but it’s the truth.  Of course my pop up spends little time in the bathroom.  I thought that I would use it for the bathroom but it seems to have many more uses than what I thought.

My first experience with a pop up hamper was quite trying. It’s hard for me to admit this simple item got the best of me, but it did. I think I was trying too hard, and I should have just let the pop up hamper do its thing, and all would have been fine. Sadly, after ten minutes of frustration, my four year old took it from me, and promptly set it right. Once I realized how easy it was, I felt duly put in my place. Mom doesn’t always get it right.

The pop up hamper I bought turned out to be a wonderful item. Once I got the hang of it, it popped up simply and easily, and then would go down quite easily for storage. We don’t have a lot of room, so the pop up hamper is a blessing. It can be stored away very easily when not in use, leaving more room for play. Most types of pop up hamper fold down to the size of a book and can be stored anywhere.

A pop up hamper has more uses than just storing dirty clothes. We have quite a few now, and use them for a multitude of purposes. They can be used to store clean clothing, as well as the dirty ones waiting for the wash. They are a great for toys, as we use one to keep the pile of stuffed animals in my daughter’s room under control. The smaller type of pop up hamper can be used to store bath toys, or as a place to keep magazines you have not yet had the time to read.

Because I live on the second floor, there are times when going in and out for an afternoon in the backyard is hard. We can’t leave anything outside, so we have to take everything we need in and out each day. I have found that a pop up hamper is great for this type of thing. We can easily carry swimming toys, sandbox toys, blankets, drinks, magazines, and anything I need to take outside. I can do this without tripping over my feet, banging things into the wall, or dropping things because I have too much in my arms.

You can find a good pop up hamper in many stores both online and in your local retail stores. Many come in bright colors, and some come with children’s entertainers on them. You can also find more subdued ones for other areas of your home, and you can find them in a multitude of useful sizes. Prices can range from a few dollars to over ten or twenty. Buy more than one, because you never know when you will find a new use for the one you have.

Well it seems a little weird that I have so much excitement for a little thing that carries things but I am.  It’s the small things in life that can make us happy and my small bathroom pop up hamper is one of them.
