Toilet Paper Holders For Your Bathroom

Toilet Paper Holders

I’m not sure why it is, and I’m sure it’s not just me, but why does it seem that most toilet paper holders made for the home don’t work very well? You install them, and they work great for a while. After a while, however, they start to become loose. After this happens, you find it harder and hard to keep the roll on the holders, and eventually you give up and start setting your toilet paper somewhere else. Can someone out there make these better?

Perhaps it is just because of the places I have lived in, though I’m not really sure. The problem with the toilet paper holders I have had is that they come loose where they are installed. What I mean is that the holes in the wall seem to widen, and thus the holder becomes unstable. Maybe those in my household are just too rough on toilet paper holders, but really, they should be made stronger than this. My four year old knows how to change the roll, but I shouldn’t have to worry about it coming out of the wall if she is a little rough.

The problem was fixed, but I suspect it’ll need fixing again in a matter of months. My husband removed the holder and moved it over an inch. Luckily the arms of the toilet paper holders cover up the holes you have left behind, but this only works once. After that, you are going to have to repair the holes if you have to move it again, and trust me you are going to have to move it again. The more you move your holders, the more holes there are going to be in your wall. Not only are they unsightly, they also start to spew drywall material onto the floor. I can also imagine that these holes might be doorways for all the cute little critters of the world to crawl into your bathroom from behind your walls.

The biggest problem would be toilet paper holders installed in drywall, which most people have in their homes. If you have tiled walls in your bathroom, you may find it harder to install your toilet paper holders, but they should remain secure for a very long time. Drywall is not that strong, and the holes will get larger from wear and tear, and this makes the entire unit become loose. I don’t know if there is a way to reinforce the area, but we have to figure out something. It’s driving me crazy.
